SCHEDULE OF MEDICAL & DENTAL COLLEGES ENTRANCE TEST 2011
Availability of Forms:
Forms will be available from 5th July 2011 from the following branches of MCB Bank Ltd.:

Main Branch, Sarban Hotel Building, Abbottabad
Hayatabad Branch, PDA, Commercial Complex, Hayatabad, Peshawar
Charsadda Road Branch, Peshawar

Khyber Bazar Branch, Haji Khan Building, Khyber Bazar Peshawar
Peshawar Cantt Branch, Saddar Road Peshawar
University Road Branch, Peshawar
Kohat Road Branch, Hajiabad, Kohat Road, Peshawar
Warsak Road Branch, Peshawar
Dabgari Gate Branch, Peshawar
The forms will be available on cash payment of PKR 1,200.
Receipt of Applications:
The application forms will be received at Ayub Medical College Abbottabad from candidates desirous to appear at AMC Centre. Candidates who wish to appear at Sher Khan Stadium, Peshawar have to submit their forms at KMU Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar.
The forms will be received from 7th July to 17th July 2011, during office hours, at both centres, except that AMC Centre will remain closed due to Entrance Test of Engineering Colleges on Sunday the 10th July 2011.
Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test for Medical & Dental Colleges will be held on Sunday the 24th July 2011 simultaneously at Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad and Sher Khan Stadium, Peshawar.
Timings of the Test (On Sunday the 24th July 2011):
Gates will be opened at 6:30 AM (The students will enter the venue and make queues for various check-in booths; there will be separate queues for boys and girls).
Check-in will start at 7:00 AM (The students will enter the centre, go to their specified seats, and sit there; roaming will not be allowed in the centre.)
Instructions to the students will start at 8:00 AM.
Test will start at 9:00 AM.
Test will be over at 12:00 PM.
Prohibited Items/Activities:
Mobile phone, PDA, Computer, Media Player, Bluetooth device, and any other storage and retrieval system
Calculators, Log Tables, Reference Books, etc.
Wireless device of any type/kind
Radio devices, camera and other recording devices
Copying from others or letting being copied by others
Talking/disturbing to other candidates, making noise
Roaming in the Test Centre
Disobedience of the orders issued to the candidates by the invigilation/supervisory/controlling staff
Any breach of discipline may cause disqualification and punishment or both.
Mobile phone sets will be retained at the check-in counters on sole responsibility of the candidates and deposit slips will be issued. The administration will not be responsible for any loss/theft or damage to the retained items. The student will receive back the retained items on production of deposit slip for the item.
Refreshments:
Lemon water and cookies will be available to the candidates on demand. Cold water will be provided at the centre. However the students are encouraged to bring biscuits/toffees/candies with them to restore energy during the test.
Facilities:
Separate toilet facilities are available at both centres. Fans will be provided at both centres, and air-conditioners wherever available at the AMC Centre. Good lighting arrangements have been made and excellent public address systems installed at the centres. Medical aid will be available at both centres.
Result:
The results are expected to be declared within 36 hours after the test. The result timing may vary subject to weather and humidity conditions and power failure. The result will be available direct at the official website of Ayub Medical College at http://www.ayubmed.edu.pk
