| The KMU has announced result of 1st Professional MBBS Part-II Examination 2011-Annual. According to the Notification, the overall pass percentage is 62%. Ayub Medical College has pass percentage 80% while BKMC 78%, KMC and KGMC 74%, SMC 73%, BMC 63%, GMC 59%, WMC 39%, PIMC 23%, JMC 18% and AIMC 15%. Roll No. 12518, Miss Hira Ishaq of KMC has topped with 1061/1300 marks. Roll No. 12793, Miss Tanzeela Khalil of JMC stood 2nd with 1060 marks and Roll No. 12265, Miss Anum Ishtiaq of Ayub Medical College got the 3rd position with 1035 marks. | Professor Ahmed Sohail Sahibzada, MBBS (Pesh), FRCS (Ed), FRCS (Ire), a renowned orthopedic surgeon, has passed away last night. His funeral will take place at 3:00 PM in Phase-II, Hayatabad, Peshawar. Faculty, Students and Staff of Ayub Medical College & Hospital Complex pray for a high position for him in Jannah. May Allah bless the departed soul with peace and forgiveness, and to his family strength to bear this great loss. Amin! |

| The winter vacation will start on 2nd Jan 2011. However the 1st year MBBS and BDS classes will continue till 9th January 2011 to cover late start of their classes. All class tests will be held as announced earlier by individual departments. |
